A Girl's Weekends

How's everyone doing?
This weekend was great. The older men of the family ( Dan, David and Dad) went on the soccer team overnighter so we had the house all to ourselves ( except for Jo). On Friday my mom dropped the girls and me off at our two dollar theater and I treated them to a movie, with every ticket they would give away a free small box of popcorn so that was a purk. Afterwards my mom picked us up and we went out for dinner and then did a little shopping. On Saturday we went to walmart and got KFC for dinner I then watched "The Love Of Singing" also known as The Sound Of Music with my littler sisters. It was great. Well today we are going to the state fair. Yippeeee!! I have to go and get my sisters ready so that's all for now. God Bless.

Latin Mania

Yesterday I went to a Latin review Session for all the people who are taking Latin 2 or Latin 2 1/2 at this homeschool group Padiea. You see, I took a year of Latin at my old school, but it was from a different text book and a very confusing teacher at times. Now I am trying to take Latin 2 somewhere else. AAAHHHHHH!!!!!! The review session went horribly for me. The other Latin students learned things a little different than me ( which is to be expected), but I was never prepared for this. The teacher would ask a question and the kids would just start raddling off these answers, when it came to my turn oh it was bad, at least I knew first declention which was in chapter 1 !! Well, for now, I have to go through the whole Latin 1 book, read it, copy all the charts ( there is about 100 and I am not joking), and write out every vocab word. Man, I need to get cracking if I am going to get this done in my two weeks of time before school starts. Well I have to go. God Bless.

Summer is Almost Over

Hi everyone. I haven't been blogged recently because there has been a lot going on around here as most of you know. So whats'up with my life? Well, school is just around the corner and I getting busy preparing my stuff and figuring out my first week of assignments. On the first day of school I don't even get to enjoy sitting around home and sleeping in like all homeschoolers get to do. No I have to get up and put a skirt on and go to a full day of classes that don't get out until 6pm!! Oh, well. Good news is that we found a new piano teacher who is willing to 'work with me'. A Sink Disaster

Everything goes well here. Today my friend came over and we watched two movies. It was a lot of fun and I look forward to the next time she graces us with her presence. After she left I helped my mom clean the first floor. We got a lot done, but there is still more to do. I decided to help dad out by installing the bathroom sink. It would be simple, all you do is follow the directions. Well, it started off all right and I was doing fine until I had to screw the faucet in from underneath, then I realized what the problem was. THE SINK DOES NOT FIT!!!!!! So, for now, I just packed up the sink. Will we ever get a new faucet?!?!?!

On a roll

This morning everyone dispersed to different houses and to different destinations, that is everyone but me. I was in a sour mood and only focusing on what I couldn't do and not what I could do. My dad called and said if I was board I could clean out the pantry and vacuum it for a project to help mom out. Well, after that, Lydia and I started thinking of things we could do to help out my mom said we could clear the dining room table so we did and then because we were on a roll we cleaned out the pantry and organized the bottom of the food cabinet. After that I was hot and not feeling so well so I had to lay down. Now I am rested and on a roll. That's it for now. God Bless.

Girl's Night

Last night just about all the girls went to the women's book study with our moms and hung out in the basement. We had a lot of fun chatting. We talked about **** and **** and **** as well as ****. It was a blast. Oh ya!




Not much has been going on today. Dad and David are staining the deck and Dan has mowed. Me? Well I have been doing my usual, sitting around, relaxing and reading. It's summer what else am I supposed to do. I would like to go exercising with my mom but that is out of the question. I am so out of shape!! Well, that's it for now. School Shopping

I can't believe it!!! We have gone school supplies shopping and I am not even going to school!!!! What is this world coming to!
Actually it was kind of fun. I put together my own list and then Dan gave me his list ( he has this thing about shopping with the whole family). I got everything on his list, but I am a little more particular on what kind of notebooks I like so I still have a few things to get to complete my list. After that we browsed around the store and looked at desks ( I need more room in which to spread out my stuff while I am doing school).

Tonight I get to go to the Women's book study with my mom and hang around with the other girls in the basement. I am looking forward to it because I haven't had much social time with my friends this week unlike one sister I know.

I got my boot on Tuesday and man is it big, black, hot, and bulky. Well, if it is going to help my ankle heal I am all for it.

Post-Camp

Camp was a lot of fun. I didn't get to do much, but I was still able to enjoy the company of my friend and meeting other people. One day my cabin challenged a boy cabin to rock climbing and we won. We were supposed to get to pie them but that didn't work out. Oh well. On Wednesday we had skit night and that was a lot of fun, it was so hysterical. On Thursday my cabin had to do a skit in front of about 6 other cabins. My line was, " Zena, warrior princess is here to save the day!!!!". I then got to fight a dinosaur with a light-saber. I'm Back

Hey, Everyone. I'm back. Camp was great and I had loads of fun. I got to go on a horse back ride and cheer everyone on during games. Where since I just got home and I miss everyone here I feel a need to hang around with my family. So I have to go and read the truck book to Joben. I'll write more about it later. God Bless.
