Prayer Requests

Hey Everyone!!! Happy Memorial Day!!!!!!!!! And what it day it has been so far!!!!! It isn't even 10 a.m. yet!!!!!! Yesterday it was in the 90's and today it is expected to be around that again.

More kids have come down with the flu, and man is it ugly!!!!!! We are praying that it will run its course before graduation and family which will start arriving on Thursday! We still have a lot to do until than.

There hasn't been much else going on, so I really don't have much more to write about. So I am going leave you with a couple of prayer request.

1) This morning my dad, younger brother, and I went on an early morning bike ride. Well while we were preparing to go up a large hill, another biker came speeding down it on the wrong side and hit my dad head on. My dad is ok but the other lady got pretty banged up. No broken bones that we know of but she is going to be hurting pretty badly for the next couple of days, both bikes were on top of her. My dad has to get a new wheel for his bike, thank the Lord that is all. Please pray for the lady that she will heal quickly, and thank the Lord that no one else was injured.

2) This morning at 3:00 a.m. my cousin Abby C. had her appendix (spelling?) removed. Lord willing she will be out of the hospital tonight or tomorrow morning. She could use a lot of prayer. She is still suffering from her broken leg, though she is in good spirits. Go Abby!!! Her parents were planning on leaving for Italy this morning but as I know it now only Uncle Mark has left, Aunt Dianne will most likely be leaving in about 36 hrs if all goes well.

Well, that is it for now folks. I hope you all have a superb Memorial Day, and remember to pray for those who are still overseas fighting. God Bless.

Running to the End

Hey Everyone!!!!!! Well, its been awhile. lol Unfortunately I have been sick for the passed 7 days and am just now able to concentrate and not just sleep and mone. It turns out that I have had the flu virus of this year: swollen throat and mouth, glass in the throat (not literally), congestion, coughing, eyes look like pink eye, fever, and so on. It is really annoying. I would sleep all morning then my mom would drug me up and I would go and sit like a zombie (spelling?) at drivers ed, go home watch TV and go to bed. The worst part about it was that my stomach couldn't handle the pain killers and other stuff and I started to get nausish, so I had to go it on my own like the good old days. Ok, enough of my complaining.

I HAVE FINISHED SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!! (except for Math, bahumbug, that wont be done until mid-July!!!!!!) Tonight the place I take classes is already having and open house for next year!!!!!! I can't believe it, but I am kind of looking forward to it (sad I know) because I am going to bring a friend. Oh, and I have to do my testing, but that really doesn't count as school. lol

About a week and half ago Dan pulled his hamstring during his fourth jump for long jump. The doc said there will be no more running this season if he didn't want to have problems with his hamstring for the rest of his life, which would be a big problem with ROTC. Needless to say he turned in his uniform last week. Our schedule is sure freed up now, but I kind of miss going to a track meet and using it as an excuse to get out of stuff. lol jk

Not much else going on. I am exhausted now, so I am going to take a nap. The luxury of being home schooled. God Bless.

A Normal Day in the Neighborhood

Hey Everyone!!!!!!!!! Life has been pretty busy lately (wow did I really just say that?). On Sunday Uncle Dave preached on Psalm 33:1 in the morning and it was really great, and in the evening he preached on something we are going through in the book Over Coming the World, in Sunday school, I can't really think of a name for it. All in all It was a very good and productive day.

Well, Yesterday I again had to suffer from my ingenious procrastinating skills. I had to do two sessions in my Omnibus text book which took me 2 HOURS, a lot of Latin because I didn't feel like doing it last week, Math, and write 1,000 words for that paper I have to finish in a week!!!!! I started at 6:30 a.m. and went until 2:10 p.m. (ok, so I took about a 45 min. break to make pancakes for the family. Man, is that a lot of pancakes). Then I went to my first Drivers Ed class, boring!!!!!!!! My instructor makes us sit in alphabetical order, so I am in the front row, in the middle!!!!!!!!!!!! No napping for me. She rewarded us, because she said we were being so good and quite we could watch a movie!!!! That was probably the most disgusting movie I ever saw!!!!!!!! Brains and guts all over the pavement and I am not kidding!!!!!!!!! It was sad because they kept saying all of this stuff about how it is such a waist and how it wasn't their time to die. I wanted to get up and start preaching at the movie!!!!!! It had so many views wrong.

Today I have classes. yuck Well, at least I'll get some social time. lol And tonight we are going out for David's 12th B-day dinner, but his B-day isn't really until May 4 ( we are celebrating it today because I have drivers ed on Thurs. and my mom has a Bible study) so I am going to wait until then to officially say happy birthday to him on the xanga. Well that's it for now folks. I hope you all have a very good Tuesday. God Bless
