Birthday Greetings!!!

Yesturday was mom's birthday. She is now ....... years old.

I have such a great mom.

She cooks for us, and is her cooking good!!!

She cleans all of our laundry and irons all our clothes.

She homeschools 4 out of the 5 kids who are in school.

She strives to honor the Lord in all she does.

She loves us and cares for us.

She works and works even when she is sick.

I love you, Mom.

We Have Electricity!!!!

We have survived!!! We have weathered the storm pretty well. Nothing major occurances at our house although there are trees down everywhere and our nieghbors have lost their fence to a tree. After 15 hours, we have power. We are still hoping that their there is damage to the roof. Well thats it for now. God Bless.

Lost Book

Hi, everyone. Right now I am mourning the loss of my book. I can't find it any where and it is very sad. I am very sad. Did I mention that I am very said and am in mourning. I think my book upped me and ran away with the fork and the spoon. I knew they would better me some day, I tride and I tride and they just don't care. I hate popularity, it doesn't matter if you care and cherish and devote your time to them, everything just goes to the POPular. POPular. How depressing. I have been replaced by a fork and a spoon. What a blow to my dignity. Not only am I mourning my book, I am also being disted, how depressing. I am going to cry. I think I better stop writting now because my tears are ruining the keyboard. She Did It !!!

Although I am not in school any more I still have some very faithful contacts in which I can get the inside scoop. I recently found out that the elections for class president and vice president for the highschool student government were and did take place on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 prior to the candied speeches that were given on the Tuesday before. I must say that I am a very happy coach. My friend call me up on Monday night and said, " I am running for class prez (to which my reaction was ecstatic) and I have to make a speech tomorrow!!!!!! I hate speeches!!!". It was then that I knew that I must help my dear friend. Though out the night we spent a totally of a hour and a half in which, together we formed a perserasive speech and I helped with her voice technique. After I hung up the phone that Monday night, I knew we would soon see good results. Now I am very pleased to announce that after the collection and adding up of all the ballots that my dear friend has achieved Vice President for the Freshmen class. Way to go Natalie!!!!!!!! Cookies and Movies, Not a Bad Combination

Hey everyone. There's not much going on around here. Today I had my friend over and we made bunches of cookies. We didn't have all the ingredients so we just decided to make it up on our way when we ran short. Were we making chocolate cookies with reeces peanut butter chocolate chips. As we were mixing all the dry ingredients together we realized we did not have 1 1/2 cups coco ( those who know my family know that everything is made in quantity) but only 1/4 cup so we decided to make do with what we had. We went into the cupboard and pulled out the hot chocolate mix. It actually worked quite well and the cookies turned out superb. Ask Joben, he loved the cookies so much that he had it in his hair, in his ears, on his eyelids, all over his mouth and cheeks as well as in his nose ( never play peek-o-boo with a tot who is eating cookies).

After this three hour affair of preparing the batter and taking the cookies out of and putting them in the oven, we had some pizza and watched one of my favorite movies, YOUR'S, MINE, OURS.

It was a great night for all and a excellent end to a full week of school. Well, that is it for now. It is getting pretty late. God Bless.

First Day of School

Can you believe that summer is over? Where has the time gone? This is making me depressed.
Well, the first day of school has gone fairly well. I love my new piano teacher. Biology is cool and I am not to behind in Latin (: Remember how I did all of book 1 in two weeks? Well, one thing he failed to tell me was that we were supposed to read over chapter 1 in book 2 which was review, everyone in the class raised there hand except me when he asked this question). Great Books was great. Man, do I have a lot of reading to do. I went to the doc this morning and have now been referred to a foot and ankle doc and I am scheduled for a MRI tomorrow. Please pray that everything goes well. I'll let you know what the out come is. Well, I have to go now. What do you think of the fall colors? God Bless.
