Hey Everyone! Things have been really, really busy around here, so much so that I can't really think of anything to write about. Kind of odd don't you think. Maybe if I just keep on babbling about nothing something will just pop into my overloaded brain. I think the past few weeks I have been cramming so much into my brain that it is going on overload. hmmm. I wonder if that could really happen. Ok I thought of something to write about...
Mom had one of her wisdom teeth out last friday (not yesterday). It was kind of weird seeing her all drugged up, because the knocked her out for the extraction (she prefers to call it that, than some other names we have suggested). My dad had to take her so I was in charge of the family, and David and I both had to do a full day of school. I didn't know how I was going to handle everything, but the Lord answered our prayers. One of the moms of Sarah and Lydia's friends called to see if my mom and the girls wanted to do something that afternoon (she didn't know about my mom's extraction). I had to tell her that wouldn't work out, and she decided that she would take the girls the whole afternoon to keep them busy and out of the way. What a blessing! I feed the girls then shewed them out the door put Joben to bed, and had a quite afternoon taking a Latin test for three hours!!!!!!! Don't ask. The Lord also answered our prayers, in being that my mom had the best case scenario for her tooth. It just popped right out and they didn't have to cut the bone, which they were afraid they might of to do. God truly is remarkable and amazing.
We are going to get new carpet in the living room as well as paint it two toned, paint the dining room and put cork flooring in, and carpet the stairs and hallway. Pretty exciting! (ok, these things really get me excited, I don't know why. I just really like it when things are changed up a bit.) Today my mom and I went to match paints to the carpet we are hoping to get. One of the colors is green!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess who is happy. :)
School is going pretty well. Last week Cadet went to this thing called Camp Ripply with ROTC. He got to throw grenades, shoot machine guns, and propel off of 40ft walls (the C. saw that Cadet really liked the propelling so he had him do it off of a drop with no wall to hit his feet against, he really enjoyed it). While he was at camp they worked until bed time (midnight) and were woken up at 4 a.m. wow I sure love the life of a homeschooler. lol
Well, this is getting to be very long. So I am going to stop. And to think I had nothing to say at the beginning. ;) Have a wonderful Lord's Day! God Bless,
