Hey Everyone!!!!! Church went very well today. Lydia woke up with a stuffy nose (which kept me up most of the night, sometimes I just wish I could blow it for her so we could all go to sleep) so my parents had to switch off going to the services. In Sunday school we had a prayer meeting and prayed for the persecuted church and for the world leaders. The morning service was on John 8: 37 to the end of the chapter. Uncle Dave talked about how Jesus said that the Jews were not the children of His Father but the children of the Devil. In the evening the sermon was on Job 1-3. It was most excellant. It is such a comfort to know that Satan is not free to do whatsoever he pleases, but most first receive permission from the Lord of All. We also learned that it is not only those who sin who find trials come down on their lives but the truly godly men and women, and we learned how we ought to react when we are faced with various trials. After He had lost all his wealth and ten children Job still praised the Lord. "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I shall return there, the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord." I pray that that would be my answer when I find my self in trial. We also sang this hymn today that really struck me and made me think; Here are some selected verse.
1. What-e'er my God ordains is right:
Holy his will abideth;
I will be still whate'er He doth,
And follow where He guideth:
He is my God; Though dark my road,
he holds me that I shall not fall:
Wherefore to Him I leave it all.
4. What-e'er my God ordains is right:
He shall my stand be taken;
Though sorrow, need, or death be mine, Yet am I not forsaken;
My Father's care is around me there;
He holds me that I shall not fall;
And so to Him I leave it all.
A full week of school is now coming up. Blahhhh. Oh well, I only have a month and a half to go. Nothing much else going on around here, I might be looking for a summer job, but it is really hard to get a job when you are only fifteen so I might just send out some babysitting fliers. Well, thats if for now. God Bless.

PEANUT BUTTER
Hey Everyone!!!! I am here to testify that Peanut Butter works!!!!!!!!!! I had really bad hicups today and I couldn't stand them. You see, when I get hiccups, I get them REALLY, REALLY, REALLY Bad!!!! I sound like a frog. No Joke!!!!!!! Well, today was one of those days and I couldn't stand it!!!!!!! So went to the cupboard and ripped out the peanut butter, grabbed a spoon and ate. (yeah, disgusting. I don't know how I could eat a container of that stuff plain when I was little.) Once I got it all down and my mouth was clean, the hiccups were gone!!!! Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!
Yesturday Natalie came over. We had a great time. We watched Loves Enduring Promise, tried to play Football on the PS2 (that didn't really work), talked, and had tic-tack-to tornements. We really had a ball. After she left I was all hyper. Nothing much else going on around here. I have to go now because we are going to watch a movie, and I have to claim my seat. God Bless.

Speechalisous
Hey Everyone!!!!! I had a speech competition this weekend. It went pretty well. Alyssa A. went into finals. GO ALYSSA!!!!! I am very wiped out and may feet are killing me (yeah that means my ankle to) because I had to wear the high heels, that really aren't what you would think of high heels being because they are only about an inch and half tall if that. Well, they were extremely uncomfortable and we had to stand most of the day. Before the awards ceromony we had two hours to kill so we went to the mall and walked around with some of my friends and their moms. We were quite a sight, with all of our different suits on. lol After all of that my ankle is pretty messed up and my foot is swollen.
But enough of my complaining. On Friday we hit 58 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All our snow melted, but last night it dropped back down to 20 and left us with four to five inches of snow. It is still snowing. It is like the weather sensed spring was in the air and has a detachment problem with fellow winter. lol
Well, the girls book study was yesturday between the services and that was Great!!! I learn so much and we can share what is going on in our lives. Thanks Kristin!!!!!!!!!! That evening Uncle Dave preached on 1 Timothy 6: 12-16 "fight the good fight" it was very powerful. He ended making some very direct remarks to Dan, because it was going to be Baptised. He had us all ready to cry when he charged Dan to be like Papa who fought the good fight all of his life and now was enjoying his great reward. I am happy to say that I made it threw the hymn Great Is Thy Faithfulness. (I didn't at the wedding).
Well, I have to go now. I need to start school and I have a whole lot to do today because I have a full day of classes tomorrow. God Bless

The Boy Who Gave His Life
Hey Everyone!!!! Seeing that everyone seems to be in the story telling mood I have got one of my own that I once read somewhere and that has always stayed with me. Try reading to the end, you'll really get something out of it.
There was once a young girl who came down with a fatal desease. The doctor told her family that the only one who would be able to save this little girls life would be someone who had had the desease before and overcome it. Well, about two years before this occurance, this girl's brother had had the disease and overcame it. So they called the boy in, he was less then ten years old. The doctor took him into his office and told him that he was the only chance his sister had to live, and asked him if he would donate some of his blood to his sister. The boy looked at the ground for a few seconds and then looked the doctor in the eye and said, "Yes. Anything for my sister". The next day two children were wheeled into the hospital: one healthy and full of color, the other pale and fragile. As the children were hooked up to wires and the blood began to transfer the little boy looked at the doctor and asked, "Doctor, when am I going to die?"
Within those few seconds the day before that young boy had decided to lay his life down for his sister. He had not known what a simple procedure the blood transfer really was.That story really meant a lot to me. It reminded me of the Bible verse that says the best thing we can do for a friend is to give up our life for them.To think that a person so young would give up his life for his sister. What Love. God Bless.

Socrates the Question Guy
Hey Everyone!!!!! Things were pretty busy around here today. I got my schoolwork done by ten in the morning (: I started at 6:30:) and then went to my creative writing class. Well the rest of the day I sat around and read my books for Omnibus. Right now I am reading The Best Things in Life By some guy named Kreeft. It is a mondurn days Socrates type of thing and it can get pretty annoying after a while, but I am beginning to ask questions kind of like Socrates and it is SCARYING ME!!!!!!!!!! I didn't get to go to prayer meeting to night because I have to work on my speech like crazy and read some more (if you haven't noticed I am trying to cram some of it so I don't have to do it Friday). Well, I better keep this short. Tomorrow comes my doom with the DENTIST!!!!!! My little sister was so scared that the dentist was going to pull out this tooth in her mouth that has been hanging there for about three weeks, she told us all that she was going to pull it out today. Well, what do you know, when she was emptying the silver ware from the dishwasher her tooth just fell out into her mouth without any pulling. Way to go Sarah!!!! Time for me to go. God Bless.

A Sweet Time
Hey Everyone!!!! Well, We are back. The wedding is over. Life resumes its normal structure (that is if life even can be classified as normal). The trip was great. It was a lot of fun visiting with my family and meeting NEW extended family. There was never a dull moment to spare.
On Thursday we spent twelve hours in the car driving up to Michigan. On Friday I spent most of the day at the church preparing for the reception and the wedding that took place on Saturday. After setup I went back to my cousins and showered my sisters and gave my younger brother a bath, oh, and don't forget I had to take a nap (of course knowing me). Later that evening we had pizza at the church and met some of our new family, we then watched Numb3ers before going to bed.
On Saturday we had to be at the church by 9:40 (the wedding wasn't even until 12:15) to take pictures which as you might guess took a very long time, but we got through them. Next comes the wedding itself. We started of with the hymn Great Is Thy Faithfulness which left me almost weeping (: that song had been my grandpas favorite hymn and the last time we had all song it together was at his funeral, let alone the words to the song read so much into the situation that had brought us there that day :) Well, after that I pretty much lost it for the rest of the wedding. It was the most beautiful wedding. To see Grammy's face so filled with joy and peace and love was undescribable. The Lord works the most mysterious ways. Oh, how great His wisdom and understanding is!!!!!!! During the reception six of us granddaughters sang 'Going to the Chapel' and dressed up in fifties skirts and that was a whole lot of fun. On Sunday we went to church and I got to see a lot of people I hadn't seen in a while it was really a blast. And on Monday we drove home. Well, there you have it. Thats my weekend.
Now back to life. Today I had a full day of classes and am back into the swing of things. Tomorrow is creative writting, a piano lesson on Thursday as well as the dentist , and state competition for speech is on Friday and Saturday, so I have a pretty busy week. Hopefully I will blog later this week if I find time. I hope you all have a great week. God Bless
