December has come and with it my fourth cold this school year. I have been sick since Sunday and I can definitely tell you it is not fun. On Monday I woke up with no voice, which I probably wouldn't have minded to much if did not have a PRACTICE SPEECH COMPETITION THAT EVENING!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! My teacher was really nice, she was concerned that wouldn't be able to give my speech so she brought some medicine to our door for me. Thankfully I had half of my voice back by evening and was able to give it twice through periodic coughing spasm which brought my speech up a whole minute when it already needed some cutting. Tuesday morning was even worse. I had not slept more than three hours the night before, and had a full day of classes ( away from home ) from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. I felt even worse and added to all of my other symptoms I became congested and had a fever the most of the day. Yesterday wasn't much better, but in the evening my dad went out and got me some Vicks Nyquill, that stuff really works. I am feeling quite a bit better today but am still a little achy. Down side, homeshoolers don't get days off.
Veering off that subject, It looks like we are going to have most of my dad's side of the family here for Christmas weekend, but not for Christmas but for my cousins wedding. So far we are going to have four extra women staying in our house form age 1 and some months to seventy something, and they're all family!!!! I am really excited.
Now to New Years. All of our guests are leaving on Christmas morning and we will be following them to Michigan for New Years, to have our last family get together with some of our new-soon-to-be extended family before my grandma's wedding.
Wow. There is sure a lot going on around here. You should hear my cousins side of the story, they even have more weddings. Well I have to go. God Bless.

I hope you feel better Elizabeth. I would hate being sick for so long.
I hope you feel better in time for your family's arrival. Get some sleep, drink lotz, and read lotz. Love ya!
