You Know You're a Homeschooler...

...if the only bell that rings at your school is the telephone.

...if you think an "Anglo Saxon" is a math text book.

...if your school planner has a column entitled "chores."

...if your teacher has ever attended school in her pajamas.

...if your kitchen table serves as a lab, supply center, work area, and, occasionally, a place to eat.

...if when you check out at the library, your stack of books is taller than the librarian.

...if you have to stop and think when asked, "What grade are you in?"

...if you shop for back-to-school clothes in your older sibling's hand-me-down pile.

...if your class roster sounds like a Biblical genealogy.

(If you don't understand this list, it means you probably not a homeschooler, ask me and I'll clarify a few things.)

Hey Everyone!!!!!!!!! I have pretty much finished school (pretty much meaning I have three more pages of Biology left and I am neglecting it right now, because I don't feel like doing it. Oh, that would be everyday I don't feel like doing it. lol). It is rainy outside, I love it when it is rainy because then I don't feel the need to go out side, and can at least finish half of my subjects with out getting up.

Mom and the kids are at F.I.C.H. (pronounced fish, their homeschool group). They are getting ready for track and field day which is next week. Get this, one of the games is the shoe flop, you know throwing your shoe off of your foot!!!!!!! That's my kind of game.

Last night I slept for only about four 1/2 hours. It was really annoying. Goop was coming out of my eyes like no other ( you really didn't need to know that ) and they were getting stuck shut, which should make it easier to sleep, but it doesn't when they are also burning, itching, and stinging at the same time. My mom doesn't think it is Pink Eye so she is having me go to the eye doc today. I don't really see how that can help, because I have a feeling that they are going to say, "Say inside it is ALLERGIES." I HAVE BEEN STAYING INSIDE AND I AM GOING CCRRRAAAAZZZZZYYYYYY!!!!!!! ok, enough is enough.

This afternoon I am going to go to Naughty's house and watch Pride and Prejudice, and make Potatoes, Cheese, and Ham. It sounds pretty basic so I don't think I can mess it up to much. lol

Tomorrow Dan has a track meet so it is going to rain and it will be in the forties. That is how I predict the weather now, and usually it is so accurate. lol

EDIT: Ok, so I just go back from the doc, and he said that my right eye was worse than my left, LIKE I DIDN'T KNOW THAT!!!!!! Now he has me on a subscription for eye drops which I take only twice a day. When he handed them to me, he said not to expect immediate relief it would probably take four days to a week for them to kick in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ugh At least I can look forward to next week, then I will be able to go outside.
